On 7th September 1991 the organization was register with the name Shree Sahyadri Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha and on 2nd October 1991actual work of the Shree Sahyadri was bagan. Shree Sahyadri started at ‘Pushpamangal’, Bibvewadi, Punae at100 sq. There was a gap in space. Within a short period of time, as the area of operation of the Shree Sahyadri was Pune city ,it became necessary to expand the branch .According to the demand of the members and scope of the work of the patsanstha, the Shree Sahyadri started branches in Kothrud in 1994,Sadashiv Peth in 1995, Sinhgad Road in 2003, Pimpri-Chinchwad in 2004,Yerawada in 2011 and Sukhsagarnagar in 2016.
